Business Department KC Trip

COD Business 2017-2018 | College of Distinction

Evangel’s Business department offers some of the most challenging, flexible and practical academic paths on campus. Regardless of the vocational area, students sharpen the skills needed to serve as leaders in public and private businesses, as well as nonprofit organizations around the world.

Each year, business majors are earning their Bachelor of Business Administration degrees with comprehensive majors in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Nonprofit Business & Social Enterprise, or Business Education.

Graduates are not only taking key roles in traditional for-profit enterprises but also helping humanitarian, ministry and government organizations around the world achieve their missions and goals.

Evangel’s business programs are personal and practical, with faculty who have experienced the real business world. Students have opportunities to visit companies, participate in projects, gain practical experience, and develop team skills through classroom activities and projects, internships, and participation in student-led organizations.

Under a consortium agreement with Missouri State University, qualified business majors can dual enroll for up to 9 credit hours in MSU’s Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Accountancy, or Master of Health Administration (MHA) programs.

Also, core to an Evangel business degree is developing a Christian worldview to examine complex situations with integrity and character. Contact the Business Department for more information about the undergraduate and adult studies options.

ACBSP accredits business, accounting, and business-related programs at the associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctorate degree levels worldwide.

  • ACBSP promotes continuous improvement and recognizes excellence in the accreditation of business programs around the world.
  • ACBSP acknowledges the importance of scholarly research and inquiry and believes that such activities facilitate improved teaching. ACBSP encourages faculty involvement within the contemporary business world to enhance the quality of classroom instruction and to contribute to student learning.
  • ACBSP offers an accreditation process uniquely focused on teaching excellence and student outcomes. Because the Council believes ACBSP success is driven by the success of its members, ACBSP officers and members align those programs and the accreditation process to meet the individual needs of each member.
